Terms of Service — SMS Program

1. The service

OpenNate is a personal AI assistant service delivered over SMS. When you opt in, you can text questions and requests to the service number and receive automated replies, reminders, and notifications generated by an AI assistant.

2. Enrollment and consent

You enroll by texting START to +1 (816) 477-5999 from your mobile phone. Doing so constitutes your express written consent to receive recurring automated text messages from the service at that number. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You must be the subscriber or customary user of the phone number you enroll, and at least 18 years old.

3. Message frequency and rates

Message frequency varies depending on how you use the service. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Opting out and help

Reply STOP at any time to cancel your enrollment; you will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts. Reply HELP for assistance, or email nathangwright@gmail.com.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes or attempt to disrupt its operation. The service may decline requests and may suspend numbers that abuse it.

6. Disclaimers

Replies are generated by automated AI systems and may contain errors. The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and is not a substitute for professional, medical, legal, or emergency services. Do not use the service to contact emergency responders.

7. Changes and termination

We may modify or discontinue the service or these terms at any time; the current terms will always be published at this page with their effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Privacy

Your information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
